What do you bolster with your imps?

Postby Shinsui » Thu May 14, 2015 8:54 am

So after coming back and getting my dungeon up to par now, I'm wondering what you guys use your imps to bolster, and do you switch it up when you change from attack to defense and vice versa?

Made this into a poll with multiple options for people who split up their imps

Check the thread in my signature, it tells you how to make a poll (there is a tab at the bottom when you start a new topic). This thread has poll written all over it.

I usually dump any idle imps into my temple. My dungeon requires heavy bomb spell usage, so the sooner they run out of mana, the likelier they'll lose. I switch to my workshop for extra trap damage during survival raids, but don't generally switch to offensive bolster during tourneys etc, since I use all my gold for guild donation.

Training room and dungeon heart too, but I could only use 6 votes and training room isnt an option.

May want seperate options for attack and defense and preperation?

Ack, forgot training room. I'll put that in there.

I"m not sure how many people actually switch up their imps before they attack and such, might be something to consider. This was mainly just for genralization of what people used their imps to bolster

Oh right, as Rav mentioned, I also move them to my training room during the last 2 days of training, to trigger completion. Hard to know when to do that though, with the displayed time jumping all over the place..

Yep do that too. Had a very annoying case when after bolstering the TR timer said 1 hour left on training, so I left the imp there and logged off. When I logged back in 2 hours later the timer had 11 hours remaining. I removed the imp bolster and put him back in and the time changed again but not to zero. I removed the imp from the TR, logged off then back on again, then put the imp back in the TR and, finally, finished the training. :x

Also Bolster the Guard Post when it is nearly time for one to return from capture or KO. (Works the same as the TR.)
Occasionally bolster the DH especially when I have a mistress in cue.

If I'm playing: Library or Guard Post
If I'm away: Temple
If training approaching complete: Training

My Imps are mostly busy upgrading traps since the last update. But if I want to hit hard in a tournament and keep the gem spending low, I put as many as possible in the library as spell points is the limiting factor for my raid frequency.
