Room Spotlight: Workshop

Unlocked during the Tutorial, the Workshop is a 3x3 room that unlocks a Keeper's ability to create Traps, as well as summon Trolls. It might come as a surprise to some (well, certainly to those unlucky enough to find out first-hand) that this room is protected by its very own defenses: the Homing Buzzsaw. Able to fly over walls and other obstacles, the Homing Buzzsaw targets a single unit over a medium distance, dealing damage to them upon impact. (It makes for the loveliest "wallpaper design"... but I digress.)

Upgrading a Workshop increases Trap capacity, in addition to unlocking new Traps to be built. Another byproduct of increasing your Workshop's level through upgrading is that your Trolls will be able to be trained to higher levels, as well. And that's cause enough to upgrade, isn't it, Keepers? Do it for the Trolls!

Keeping your Workshop at peak operating condition can be one of the best ways to lay waste to any would-be attacker. Just mind the slippery floors. ::grin::

The tiling slowly changes from 4-6. If you are playing on higher resolution settings, the walls change too.
You will also see changes in your Homing Buzzsaw as it gets bigger/meaner.
I aim to misbehave.

Cool thanks. The blue tiles actually shows up at level 7. Just got mine yesterday and happy to see a new design in my dungeon!

Is the last change of the center piece of the workshop occurs at lvl 9 or lvl10?

9 & 10. At level 9 a single exhaust is added at level 10 it becomes a double exhaust.

Awesome and thanks for the info SPC.

Something to justify 5 hours of uninterrupted raiding to collect the 2M stone at a rate of 100k/raid!
- 1.4M from raid.
- 600k from stone storage.

All that for the pretty exhaust, totally worth it :)
