Have gems "grow" back

Once you've totally cleared the dirt in the dungeon those "dig speed" perks are kinda redundant. It might be a cool touch to have seams of gems grow back randomly in patches of dirt that haven't been removed for a period of time. Or if tracking the state and age of dirt is too much of an overhead then just do it randomly, or link the random trigger to being raided (and losing) or something like that. It wouldn't have to happen often, just a little bit to make things interesting.

And remove the quest log
This update is tremendously useless and unfair with 2 mines legacy dungeons. Sad!

They were restored along time ago around the mythic ea handoff. You are right it would be a nice touch
