Pause game when receiving a call on iphone

Postby Flo51 » Tue Sep 02, 2014 3:54 pm

Hello,

If someone called when I play DK, in attack mode I loose my party. It should paused the game until the call is finished.

Regards,

Awesome idea! Or even when I am in the middle of a raid and someone walks up to talk to me - I usually end the raid rather than be rude and would like to be able to pause. I understand that pause can be manipulated and give a raider extra time to plan. Even if they are doing that to attack me, I say if it is that important to them fine, let them! This convenience is more important to me. If easy as it seems it should be, high priority. If not easy, medium priority.

Would you be willing to pay gems to pause?

No pay gem for me.
I just want to not loose my attack just because someone called me !
When DK are not in front of the screen, it should pause automatically.

Agreed it's very frustrating, but pausing a raid for as long as some people talk on the phone would put an enormous penalty on the Keeper who is unable to log in to their dungeon while the raid is on, and to other Keepers who couldn't raid the same dungeon.

Also, it's not just an incoming call that would be able to pause the game. Probably anything that raised another window or simply lowered the game window would pause the game, so someone could notice they were raiding a known opponent and pause the game for hours. Or you could open your dungeon and pause the game so no one could raid you.

So how about the game could be paused, but only for a maximum of three minutes. Then it's disconnected.

Or always raid a clone of a dungeon then no one would ever be put out by the pause. Also when paused the dungeon should fade to black so you can't see the dungeon if people are worried about using pause as a means to extend plan time.

If not gems, how about Mana? This could be implemented as a new spell.

3 min max for pause would be enough for me (without gem or mana).

To pause is one thing, I would be satisfied with just allowing me to get back to the raid and try to continue. Anything from a call to an alarm can ruin a raid... sucks

Set phone to "do not disturb" prior to raid.
