You can not give mature dread players an advantage over new players in a mobile game this big. +6561 stars is absurd. You can 1-2 tiny level 35 flybys on a mature DCR80-90 dread per two minutes. Tell me how someone that attacks a DCR60-70 that is working with a lower level immortal, does not have maxed level spells and will probably have to use just as much mana will ever weigh up against that in a tournament?

we are talking about balancing Babies, sandbagged dreads, high tp dreads and casual dungeons

So am I. DCR40-DCR81/91 are these casual players you talk about. This are players that have been upgrading their dungeon for months and are completely left out of the change Keithustus for example is suggesting here. They have also been hit the hardest by the current formula. Baby dungeons still work better than anything below DCR81 because baby dungeons can do it without gems where a DCR40-DCR81 dungeon has to use mana every raid and not get that many stars for it.

Example:
- A good DCR91+ player can with his high level Tiny and 1 disable trap get 1 star on a DCR90 dungeon. This is with the Library bolstered 5 or 6 gems(?). According to the change Keithustus suggests this would be 2187 stars.
- A <DCR81 player probably attacks a DCR60/80 dungeon with one bomb wall spel. For one star this is between 81 and 729 stars for almost same amount of gems or mana spend.

I don't think that is what exponantial is.

To make a reliable table we need to know how many times a determined player can hit a DCR 20 in one full hour. and how many times the same player can hit a DCR 60 per hour, etc. As a reference i made up the number 3000 Stars / hour. it could be any other.

Defender DCR Star rewards, taking as reference the maximum raids per hour i can do without mana refills, and assuming 1 hour of continuous raids would give EVERYONE an OUTPUT of 3000 stars.


DCR 20 = REWARD: 85* per raid. (35 raids / hour (Cost 0 mana. Without counting sandbad)

DCR 60 = REWARD 428* per raid (7 raids / hour (Cost 100 mana per raid)

DCR 90= REWARD 1500* per raid (2 raids / hour) (Average cost of mana 250)

how about that?

Using resuply, dcr20=3000* hour dcr60= 6420* (15 raids) dcr90 15,000* (10 raids/more planning)
Costs of gems: ..........50-60........................100.............................150-200 (+100 maybe revive)

Honestly? I don't think a baby should be able to compete with a DCR 101 dungeon. A new player should spend some time leveling his dungeon before he can compete in tournaments. Progress should bring rewards and not just harder matchmaking and no chances at tournaments. Every game is like that and the lack of timely action from EA made DK an aberration!

Want to compete with your baby dungeon? Great! Use the thousands of gems you gathered from broken tournaments and level it. You probably already have maxed walls and spells anyway...

If new players cant compete they would quit, and in this example it takes 5 refills of mana for a 101dcr to earn 15,000 stars in 1 hour, VS 3000 stars of a baby.
1 one hour of your time raiding you can force that baby to raid for 5 hours non stop to catch you.

If nobody uses refills, the baby and the dread 101DCR would score the same stars in 1 hour; 3000. But we know, dread101 will refill at least a few times right? :lol: :lol:

2 raids of a 101, is 10 minutes of game play, versus 60 minutes of the baby staring at the phone.

really it doesnt sound fair to you? :lol:

I'm missing where anyone is still talking about making a baby dungeon able to compete with a DCR101. The point is that with current formula baby dungeon still works better than regular players below DCR91. And with some of the suggestions here everything below DCR91 becomes useless which really does not help with finding new players for guilds.

we are sidetracking here.why talk about specific numbers? let's discuss what's the best system. some of you take a bad part of an idea and try to destroy the entire idea. Still thinking Emily is right and pulling her idea might be the solution.

Emily only wants the scores for Dcr 100 to be higher as she can't get to 101 without opening mines. She will try and dress it up as other things but it's all about her trying to get a advantage, and her 2 entry layout( that can be easily beaten with disable trap and tiny from top entry to workshop)
