LonelyScreen software is free for Windows and uses the iOS AirMirror.
Then use the Windows 10 Xbox app with alt Win R to record

There is a screen recording feature in the new iOS which was previously not available.

There is now a new recording app called AirShou (link at bottom of post). It works by tricking your device into AirPlaying and Mirroring itself and then recording that. The FPS is quite smooth and I did not seem to have any issues recording or sharing with others.

After downloading the application, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management -> Wise Technologies -> click Trust -> then open AirShou. After this, you just follow the simple steps to record!

No need to download and trust any software. The existing iOS recording feature works beautifully.

This is the only drawback I can find with this software, having to deal with a proprietary MS .wmv format. I wish they encoded to a different more open container. In any case, once you have your video file, upload it to youtube and share the link here on the forum :) or email it to a friend or keep it as a souvenir of when you once beat a dread dungeon with nothing but a wet noodle.

Once you have the .wmv file, you can convert it to another format using free online tools. This is a great tutorial, thanks for the detailed illustrated instructions.
