Thanks for providing the additional information. I will forward this along to Engineering, but for now I think the best bet is to address this from your device's Settings until a solution can be found.

Can the app keep the device "always on" until it reaches the "Are you still there" popup? Be great if the screen times out after the app is asking to reconnect.

Drained my battery a few times by the game keeping the screen on in my bag. :(

Today I started experiencing this bug!!!
I turned off the auto-block and it still fades off after 60m.

I’m on IOS. Upgrading now to IOS 11.4 to see if it solves
